National Center for Citrus Virus Exclusion

      The Center is dedicated to virus detection, exclusion and preservation of elite domestic and introduced citrus cultivars or materials. Other main tasks focus on:

      1) Studying pathological mechanisms;

      2) Establishing techniques for the identification of citrus pathogens;

      3) Controlling citrus virus and virus-like diseases;

      4) Technical improvement in citrus virus exclusion;

      5) Supplying virus-free budwoods of citrus mother trees and nursery trees;

      6) the International exchange of citrus virus-free varieties and materials, and international cooperation.
